David Lockwood's Work is Recognised at the QMUL’s Research and Innovation Awards

Expert panellists have recognised Queen Mary University of London’s innovation and research excellence at the University’s Research and Innovation Awards. The event, held in the University’s Great Hall, recognised the outstanding work and contributions of Queen Mary research colleagues across eight categories. Winners were chosen by panels headed by an external experts.
This year the Research Support Winner was David Lockwood from SEMS. Stuart Wilkinson, CEO of Knowledge Exchange UK explained that David was chosen as this year's Research Support winner because “showcasing research expertise and engaging partners is an essential part of driving collaboration and impact, David’s work is a brilliant example of supporting the research endeavour”.
In the Impact: Enterprise and Commercial Innovation Awards Category, Joe Briscoe from SEMS, was also highly commended for his work with AeroSolar.
