The School of Engineering and Materials Science EDI team recently launched a series of cultural celebrations, kicking off with a vibrant Lunar New Year event on 6th February. Held in the SEMS seminar room, the space was beautifully adorned with traditional Chinese New Year decorations, creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere. Attendees enjoyed a delightful spread of food and drinks, coming together to celebrate and connect.

We believe that celebrating diversity is essential to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued. These events provide a wonderful opportunity to learn from one another’s unique backgrounds and experiences, promoting understanding, collaboration, and a strong sense of community.
