Across two weeks, Queen Mary Faculties worked together to produce a series of events looking at breakthroughs in Artificial Intelligence.

Topics explored Queen Mary breakthroughs in finance, business, healthcare and ethics.

SEMS student Kameron Young presented three of the sessions:

  1. AI and Heathcare featuring SEMS expert Dr Caroline Roney, talking about how Digital Twins utilises machine learning techniques.
  2. AI and Ethics
  3. Human-centric Innovation featuring SEMS’ Dr Lorenzo Jamone discussing the aim of CRISP group (Cognitive Robotics and Intelligent Systems for the People) to improve the lives of people.

Kameron said “The webinars were a great opportunity to gain insights into the AI and robotics research going on at Queen Mary. I loved that people were engaged enough to ask questions throughout them – we couldn’t answer them all!

I am so grateful for the opportunity as my invitation to host stemmed from my podcast, Kameron’s Lab | Dive In. I hope to collaborate again in the future to continue introducing students to the amazing research happening at QM.”

You can watch the sessions back , and listen to the sessions present by Kameron on her podcast, Kameron’s Lab.
