We are really excited to open Proud to be an Engineer: changing perceptions and inspiring the next generation of engineers.

Proud to be an Engineer will change perceptions through a showcase of stories from engineers typically underrepresented in the industry, with a focus on engineers who identify as LGBTQ+ or engineers with a disability.

If you are an engineer, or in a related role, and have an inspiring story to tell then we want to hear from you.

Participating engineers will participate in bespoke public engagement training delivered by Queen Mary University of London.

Proud to be an Engineer is supported by the Royal Academy of Engineering Ingenious public engagement awards.
