Professor Henri Huijberts will be participating in an exclusive roundtable dinner on 16th October at IET Savoy House in London, hosted by the Engineering Professors Council and the Institute of Engineering and Technology, in association with TU Delft. The dinner will be attended by senior leaders in engineering higher education and will be addressed by Prof Robert Mudde, Vice Rector Magnificus of TU Delft, on an international perspective on innovative pedagogies in Engineering. This will be followed by a discussion of developing trends in engineering higher education.

This roundtable is part of the New Approaches Initiative which is jointly led by the Engineering Professors’ Council and the Institution of Engineering and Technology. Among other activities, this has included a landmark conference in 2017, from which six facets of innovation were highlighted and a set of six case studies was published featuring different universities each of which exemplifies one of these facets. A further conference is planned for later this year.
