Siyuan Zhan passed his PhD viva successfully on the 22nd of Nov, 2018. His PhD thesis is "Robust Economic Model Predictive Control for Energy Maximisation Control Problems". Prof John Ringwood from National University of Ireland Maynooth and Prof Xi Jiang were the external and internal examiners respectively. The viva started from 9:30am and ended at 4pm. Siyuan's PhD work led to 14 papers published and under review. Siyuan was supervised by Dr Guang Li (primary supervisor) and Dr Henri Huijberts (secondary supervisor). Congratulations!
