Dr Guang Li wave energy converter control project wins funding from Wave Energy Scotland

Dr Guang Li’s wave energy converter control project proposal has been selected by Wave Energy Scotland as one of 3 projects that will receive funding to be developed further. The 3 successful projects were elected among 13 projects. The project aims to develop reliable and efficient control strategies to improve the wave energy converter conversion efficiency and survivability over a wide range of sea states, in collaboration with Mocean Energy Ltd and Exeter University. The total award is worth £151,304.
