Nada Issa, a SEMS graduate, has been recognised in the inaugural Top 50 Women in Engineering under 35 list.

The list, compiled by the Telegraph in collaboration with the Women’s Engineering Society (WES), features the UK’s top rising female stars of engineering - Nada was one of the 50 chosen from more than 500 nominations.
This is a fantastic achievement, speaking about the award Nada said:
"I was surprised and happy to be selected for the award. The list made me aware of the great things that females are achieving in the world of engineering, and I am proud to be a part of it. I hope that this list of positive role models encourages more girls to consider engineering as a future career option."

Nada studied an MEng with a year in Industry at SEMS and now works as a Mechanical Engineer at ChapmanBDSP - an independent design consultancy specialising in building services engineering and environmental design. Congratulations Nada!
