Many congratulations to Alice Zou, Deniz Ucan and Arturo Mendoza Meinhardt all of whom reached the finals of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers Healthcare Technology Student Awards, held at the IMechE Headquarters on 20th June.

Alice and Arturo both achieved oral presentations at the event, with Alice going on to win the 2017 best project award for a fantastic talk, and Arturo receiving a superb runner-up position. Deniz was in the poster final, and went on to win the award for best undergraduate poster presentation!

Speaking about the event Deniz said:
"I was really happy to have showcased all my hard work that day, and even happier that QMUL SEMS students were able to promote our latest research and go on to win recognition and awards for our efforts"
