Sheetal Inamdar a PhD student has won one of the 42 Merit awards given to the top scoring abstracts submitted for the World Congress of Biomaterials 2016. The award was combined with a $550 cash stipend.
Sheetal’s abstract titled ‘Fibrillar nanomechanics of cartilage collagen and changes associated with compositional degradation’ was one of over 3500 submitted abstracts, with the WBC being the largest gathering of Biomaterial Researchers.
Sheetal is co-supervised by Dr Himadri Gupta and Prof Martin Knight.
