In the July edition of Thunderbirds magazine, having rescued the stricken workers from the burning oil rig, Brains (under his alias of Mr Hackenbacker) meets Dr. Busfield to give a colloquia at the college on the properties of rubber. It would appear that the global reach of the excellence of the work done in the rubber research group, here in the Department of Materials, has even reached the hearing of those at International Rescue.
