Dr Frances Hurwitz from the Materials Division, NASA recently visited the Materials Department (under EPSRC Platform Funding collaboration). Dr Hurwitz spent a week in the Advanced Jet-based Materials Processing Laboratory in the Department and also gave a colloquium on advanced materials research at NASA. Several projects, which could enhance further NASA's collaboration with the Aerosol Science and Technology Group in the Materials Department were discussed.
