Chancellor of Exchequer has announced the Government’s massive £2 billion investment in the UK aerospace sector. The new UK aerospace technology institute (ATI) will have four main fields: Aerodynamics, Propulsion, Aero-structures, Advanced Systems.

Last year he opened the new GKN aerostructures factory outside Bristol and the state-of-the-art Rolls-Royce apprenticeship academy in Derby and visted the Airbus wing factor at Broughton in North Wales.
