Dr Anna-Maria Spehar-Deleze and Dr Salzitsa Anastasova won 1st prize at the 9th International Conference on Wearable and Implantable Body Sensor Networks (9-12 May 2012, London). The Dr Ahmed Elsaify Memorial Award was awarded for the best paper and oral presentation. The presented work was part of an EPSRC program grant entitled "ESPRIT" which looks at sports monitoring.
