Dr Jawwad A. Darr has been awarded a highly prestigious 5-year EPSRC Advanced Research Fellowship to work on "Next Generation Biomaterials in Supercritical Fluids". He will concurrently hold the position of 'Research Lecturer' in the Department. We congratulate Jawwad for this outstanding achievement, made even more remarkable for the fact that Jawwad has only recently entered the field of Biomaterials. Jawwad was quoted as saying "Its a really exciting time to be doing multidisciplinary biomaterials research, I am looking forward to advancing the field by embracing new technoloigies that will give significantly greater control over materials properties."
