Tina Chowdhury has been awarded a grant from the Student Experience Investment Fund (SEIF) for a project called “web-based interactive 3D technology for improved learning in tissue engineering”. The project extends previous work which developed a virtual, interactive teaching aid, that won a Drapers Prize in 2009 for innovations in teaching and learning. Funding from SEIF will allow Tina to continue this successful initiative by creating learning enhancements involving simulations in a virtual tissue engineering laboratory which add to the School’s learning platform. The project team involves Peter McOwan (SEECS) and Keith Turner (Solvexx Solutions).
