SEMS will be presenting two stands focused on Materials Science (The Magic of Materials) and Medical Engineering (Bionic Man). In addition Dr Knight, the Programme Director for Medical Engineering, will be presenting a live theatre show entitled 'Grow your own body parts' exploring the role of technology in the diagnosis and treatment of human joints from key hole surgery to replacement implants and tissue engineering.
