Dr Angus Wann wins Physiological Society prize

Dr Angus Wann wins Physiological Society prize for his abstract entitled: ‘'primary cilia are essential for chondrocyte mechanotransduction'. The prize of £150 was awarded for the best human and exercise physiology poster at the annual meeting of the Physiological Society in Manchester. Angus is a research assistant working with Dr Martin Knight on a Wellcome trust grant examining the role of primary cilia in articular cartilage mechanotransduction in health and disease.
