Baxter International Inc. a global, diversified healthcare company have announced a definitive agreement whereby Baxter will acquire all of the outstanding equity of ApaTech for a total consideration of up to $330 million. Formed in 2001, ApaTech is a spin-out company, founded on technology invented at the Interdisciplinary Research Centre in Biomedical Materials at QMUL.
