Best Paper Award at the World Congress on Engineering (WCE) London, 2009
The best student paper award was awarded to Oluwamayokun Adetoro for the paper titled ‘Stability Lobes Prediction in Thin Wall Machining’, which he presented during the three day conference. The paper was jointly written with Dr P H Wen, Dr W-M Sim (Airbus) and Dr RJ Vepa. The WCE 2009 is composed of 15 conferences, with a total of 869 submitted papers and 493 accepted papers.

The paper was presented in the International Conference of Manufacturing Engineering and Engineering Management, which had a total of 46 accepted papers. The candidate’s papers have been judged based on originality, significance, correctness and clarity by the conference committee members.
