Dr John Cater from SEMS has been awarded an EPSRC Grant entitled "Building a New Community: Modelling, Visualisation and Verification of Large Scale Systems".
To create a truly interdisciplinary approach to modelling complex systems, researchers from the departments of Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science and Mathematical Sciences have been brought together with the funding of an EPSRC Bridging the Gaps grant.
The award provides funding for a variety of multidisciplinary activities including an exciting programme of events to blend together different techniques for solving large scale systems.

Dr. John Cater is one of the investigators and is happy to help staff who are interested in starting new projects.
