EnFI2025
Scope
Functional interfaces play a key role in a wide range of fields including energy storage and production, sensing and biomedical engineering. Understanding their mechanisms and improving their design and performance requires the study of fundamental and applied aspects of physics, chemistry, biology and materials science. Material interfaces play a crucial role in diverse phenomena such as adhesion, bio-recognition, biocompatibility, separation and catalysis. Control over the interfacial material properties requires innovations spanning multiple disciplines such as sensing and recognition, electrocatalysis, materials science, nanotechnology and biomedical engineering among others.
