SEMS Year In Industry Placements & Internships Bootcamp, Tues 2- Wed 3 September 2025, 10-5pm each day, Mile End campus
SEMS Students, Looking for advice, support and inspiration to secure year in industry placement or internship in 2026?
Aimed at incoming second year and all students planning on applying for placements or internships during 2025-2026, we are planning our 2 day on-campus Placements & Internships Bootcamp to get SEMS students ready early for competitive recruitment processes.
Major sectors such as Formula 1 and Aerospace open their applications in September - so September is a great time to focus on learning the skills you need for the recruitment processes before term starts.
We are planning for the 2 days to consist of employer or careers-led interactive masterclasses on topics such as using online platforms including Gradcracker & Rate my placement for finding opportunities, making great applications, and how to stand out in group assessment centres.
