Are you looking for a paid placement or internship in the world of consulting, technology & AI? Attend this recruitment talk and panel event led by four QM students currently on their placement year at IBM to gain insights on their journey into IBM, roles available and the recruitment process as well as getting to know bit more about the company and it's culture.

The Royal Aeronautical Society’s Autumn recruitment fair, now entering its 16th year, brings together our strong industry partnerships and thriving network of members, from students and graduates seeking apprenticeships and graduate employment, to experienced professionals and service leavers looking to make their next career move. The event features a ‘two-days-in-one’ format with two sets of visitors attending through pre-booked morning and afternoon sessions, enabling a smooth and steady visitor flow throughout the day and making the best use of the event’s venue – the Society’s beautiful headquarters building in Mayfair.

London Stadium Solar Roof Project visit (Stratford, London) SEMS Exclusive visit

Ameresco, a leader in cleantech and sustainability, has been selected to implement a state-of-the-art thin-film solar photovoltaic (PV) solution on the roof of the iconic London Stadium. This project supports the stadium's sustainability goals and showcases the innovative approach to energy infrastructure. Ameresco experts will discuss the cutting-edge renewable energy projects at the London Stadium, demonstrating real world applications in sustainability.
Zotefoams visit (Croydon, London) SEMS Exclusive visit

Zotefoams plc is a pioneer in cellular materials with a legacy of innovation that stretches back to 1921. Zotefoams is the world’s largest manufacturer of lightweight crosslinked polyolefin block foams (AZOTE®) and additionally sells and licenses high-performance products (ZOTEK® and T-FIT®) and microcellular materials technology (MuCell®). Zotefoams’ products and technologies are based around unique, environmentally friendly processes. The visit will include a presentation on Zotefoams covering an overview over our history, process, products and typical applications, a site tour of our production and laboratory facilities, and a Q&A session with some of our current and former grad scheme colleagues. Zotefoams recruits for a diverse range of roles related to the technical and process related departments, they have found students with Materials and Chemical engineering backgrounds to be most likely to match well with requirements for positions, but all interested SEMS students are of course welcome to join. They are keen to have a mix of students interested in graduate opportunities or year-long placements and can provide information for both schemes.
