We warmly invite you to join Queen Mary students, staff, partners and friends to celebrate two major achievements: becoming the first university to be awarded the Platinum Watermark for public engagement from the National Coordinating Centre for Public Engagement (NCCPE); and the launch of our Civic University Agreement.
To mark the occasion, the evening will feature music from Queen Mary students, an exhibition showcasing our public engagement projects and performances from arts organisation Phakama’s Young Creatives programme.
Programme:
- 6.00pm – Arrival, refreshments and live music
- 6.30pm – Keynote addresses from Queen Mary colleagues and local partners, followed by performances from Phakama Young Creatives
- 7.15pm – Enjoy the exhibition, refreshments and canapés while you meet others involved in public engagement at Queen Mary
- 8.30pm – Event ends
