This taster course will focus on the Materials Science and Engineering programme in the School of Engineering and Materials Science.

You will hear from our Director of Outreach, Recruitment and Admissions, learn about what our students are doing from current students, attend engaging and interactive seminars led by Professor James Busfield and Professor Liz Tanner. You will also have the opportunity to put your questions to our academics and current students.

This taster course is suitable for :

Year 12 or 13 students considering studying Materials Science Engineering at university or a related subject and want to find out more about materials science
Students currently studying any two of Mathematics, Chemistry or Physics at A Level, BTEC level 3 national diploma in Engineering, or other level 3 qualifications suitable for entry onto this programme.
Applicants and Offer Holders for Materials Science and Engineering.
