One-day only, hands-on, Trash-to-Treasure International Workshop (focused on reuse and recycling!)
Resurrect your old electronics into VERY LOW COST INSTRUMENTS by combining 3D printing and knowledge of components to make: Microscopes, smoke detectors, colour spectrophotometers, microfluidics, centrifuge, & more.
You will also learn about applying your newly acquired skills in our new upcoming Maker Space, where you could use low-cost controllers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi), solder electronic connections, 3D print, troubleshoot robot assemblies and create much more!
Bring your old & broken electronics, including: CD-ROM drives, inkjet printers, old video projectors, Blue Ray drives, old computer mice (no furry ones please), web-cams, broken phones, tablets, LCD screens etc...
We’ll help you open them up and discover the fascinating world inside them (including the Nobel Prizes we promised)
