"We're Here Too - Belonging at QMUL" Long Table Event

'We're Here Too - Belonging at QMUL' Long Table Event

Date: Thursday 23 November 2017 18:00 - 20:00

Location: Blomeley Rooms 1 and 2, QMSU, Mile End Campus

Decolonise QMUL is a new society at the University concerned with the academic attainment, retention and success of students from marginalised groups. Our key aims are to unite students who may otherwise feel alienated in a safe and comfortable community space and to work alongside the University to alleviate structural inequalities that are negatively affecting our student body.

As part of our Reclaiming Our Space Week on the 20th-24th November, the society will be hosting the "We're Here Too - Belonging at QMUL" long table on the 23rd at 6-8pm in Blomeley Rooms 1 and 2.

This is an opportunity for students and staff from all schools to constructively discuss the experience of students from marginalised groups at the University. This will help students and staff develop policy suggestions as well as reforms to teaching content that can make your experience at university more satisfactory.
