Presentation of Altair Engineering (HyperWorks) products and discussion of optimisation case studies.
By: Ms. Jacquelyn Quirk, Altair UK Academic Liason

Altair HyperWorks is a Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) simulation software suite that helps businesses to stay at the forefront of product design and developments. It provides CAE tools for modelling (HyperMesh, HyperCrash), analysis (Radioss, MotionSolve, AcuSolve), visualisation (HyperView, HyperCrash) and optimisation (OptiStruct, HyperStudy) for structural, fluid-structure interaction and multi-body dynamics applications. Some of the leading product development companies using Altair HyperWorks include: Vauxhall (General Motors), Audi, Airbus, Siemens and many others.

For further information please see; www.altairhyperworks.com/Default.aspx

The presentation will give an overview of the Altair HyperWorks products. In particular the presentation will focus on design, simulation and optimisation of products in areas such as structures and fluid dynamics. Some industrial optimisation case studies will also be presented. This seminar will be particularly of interest to students and staffs involved in design, simulation and optimisation studies.
