Agilent Technologies United Kingdom Nanoindentation Users' Meeting

Date: Thursday 17 May 2012

Location: Nanoforce Technology, Queen Mary Campus, University of London

Agilent Technologies cordially invites you to attend a one-day Nanoindentation Users' Meeting in London. This special event will be held on 17 May at Nanoforce Technology, Queen Mary Campus, University of London. Invited speakers include leading experts from the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States.

The London meeting offers an excellent opportunity to present your current research in fields relating to instrumented indentation, as well as to share and discuss your experiences, applications, and ideas with fellow researchers and Agilent staff scientists in a relaxed and friendly environment.

If you would like to present your work on 17 May... Please send your name, contact information, and a one-paragraph summary of your proposed 20-minute talk to Dr Rhys Jones (rhys_jones@agilent.com). We suggest that you email Dr Jones by 30 April or earlier, as open presentation slots are limited. Abstracts not selected for an oral paper will be invited to be presented as a poster. The meeting's agenda will be set after oral papers are accepted.

Programme note: Invited speaker Dr Warren Oliver will present a revolutionary way to evaluate surface mechanical properties quickly and precisely on a wide range of materials. This new "Express Test" option from Agilent can perform an array of up to 100 indents at 100 different surface sites in 100 seconds!
