Junk the Jargon

The Junk the Jargon heats are now over, and we have the list of finalists who will be attempting to condense their research into an engaging, exciting 3 minute presentation:

All staff and students are more than welcome to come along to the final – Wednesday 15th Feb, 5pm, Arts 2 Lecture Theatre, Mile End – to watch and support them. The final will be judged by a panel – Prof. Evelyn Welch; Prof. Peter McOwan; Dr Jon Davis, director of the Mile End Group; and Liz Roche from the Centre of the Cell. It should last about an hour and will be followed by a drinks reception.

Places can be booked at www.esdcourses.org.uk/coursedetail.php?id=2732, but booking isn’t compulsory. If you are intending to come it would be useful if you can book so I can order enough drinks! Non QM people are also welcome to come along.
