QMUL Discipline Bridging Initiative seminar programme

The seminar programme is as follows:

Dr Jens Mueller-, Lecturer in Biofluid Mechanics, School of Engineering and Materials Science "A Fluid-Structure Interaction Model for Prosthetic Heart Valves”

Prof Tim Warner, Professor of Vascular Inflammation, William Harvey Research Institute. “How to identify individuals at risk of thrombosis? The need for new assays.”

The event is open to anyone who is interested in interdisciplinary and collaborative research across the disciplines of medical/life sciences and engineering/physical sciences within the college and partner institutions so please pass this e-mail on to any party who might be interested. The Discipline Bridging Initiative is funded for three years by the MRC and EPSRC and aims to facilitate the development of new multidisciplinary collaborations across the disciplines of medical/life sciences and engineering/physical sciences. Small grants will be available to support new discipline bridging activities.
