Date: Monday 10 March 2008 14:15 - 16:15
Location:Physics 4-10.

Professor Infield is Professor of Renewable Energy Technologies in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde. He leads the New and Renewable Energy group within the cross campus Institute of Energy and Environment there. His research interests are with electricty generation from renewable energy sources, in particular from wind and photovoltaics, and the integration of these sources into electricity systems large and small. Associated with this central challenge he takes an interest in energy storage technology and application, and demand side management.
