The only MSc in Advanced Robotics in UK, our programme will provide a unique opportunity to study advanced robotics topics in intensive detail. A key part of the programme is the extensive individual project which will be closely linked to research activities in the School of Engineering and Materials Science, or in the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science.
For students keen to get into industry the MSc provides an opportunity to pursue commercialization activities and receive relevant training, supported by Queen Mary Innovation (QMI) and collaborating industrial partners. For the research-focused student there is the opportunity to publish research project findings in international conferences / journals and develop a research portfolio.
The Centre for Advanced Robotics at Queen Mary University of London (ARQ) conducts robotics research of the highest level and aims to generate interruptive innovations in all areas relating to robotics and is expected to have a major impact in those areas. One of the important objectives of ARQ is to actively pursue collaborative activities with partners in the UK in robotics and autonomous systems. The Centre specialises in the following areas:
- Control and power
- Human-machine interaction
- AI and Cognition.
