Visits to Queen Mary

We offer visits to the School of Engineering and Materials Science for different year groups. These visits normally involve hands-on-activities, practical demonstrations, Q&A with current students and a campus tour. The day can be tailored to suit your year group and what they are studying. If you are interested in arranging a visit to see us, please complete the teacher enquiry form

Visits to Schools and Colleges

If a visit to the School of Engineering and Materials Science is not feasible for you, some of our practical visits can also take place in your school or college. We can also deliver a talk entitled 'What is Engineering?' which is great for those unsure of what engineering is, and for those who are deciding on what type of engineering would suit them best. Once again, if you are interested, please complete the teacher enquiry form

Curriculum Support

Where possible, we like to link the activities to part of the curriculum that the students are studying. This may involve having a specialist delivering a talk or bringing the students in to take part in a practical using our equipment. If you contact us, we can put together a tailored programme that will suit the particular needs of your group. Teacher enquiry form
