QMUL has climbed twelve places up the QS 2021 World University Rankings, published on Wednesday 10 June, to confirm its position as one of the world’s top universities. The University placed 114th in the world and remains in the top 20 in the UK. The Complete University Guide for 2021 was also released this week. This features a top 10 place (9th in UK and 2nd in London) for SEMS courses in the General Engineering category. It is the first time that QMUL courses have been ranked in in this category. General Engineering captures design and technology subjects such as Design, Innovation and Creative Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering both taught in SEMS. We maintained strong positions in our other discipline areas including a 2nd place in London for Aerospace Engineering.
