Industrial Liaison Forum & Prize Giving Event

The next Industrial Liaison Forum in the School of Engineering and Materials Science (SEMS) is scheduled for Wednesday 14 November, 2012, here at QMUL in the Octagon. As usual this particular forum will focus on reviewing existing doctoral and post-doctoral research projects and exploring new opportunities for research collaboration, as well as giving students a wider view of the opportunities outside academia.

Following on from the very positive feedback from companies and our students after the event we held in October 2011, we plan to run the employers’ forum in the afternoon in collaboration with our careers unit. This activity is designed to give our students insight into the various different careers paths that they might consider.
