Examples are; Engineering and Materials Science at university, What is materials science, Technical alternatives to medicine, Women in Engineering. We are also happy to hear any suggestions you may have for related topics.

Visits to Queen Mary

We offer visits to the School of Engineering and Materials Science for different year groups. These visits normally involve hands-on-activities and practical demonstrations.

Visits to Schools & colleges

Some of our practical visits can take place in your school or college, if this is more convenient for you.

Curriculum support

Where possible we like to link the activities to part of the curriculum that the students are studying. This may involve having a specialist delivering a talk or bring the students in to take part in a practical using our equipment. If you contact us we can put together a programme that would suit the particular needs of your group.

Information Session for teachers

We are planning to hold an afternoon session tailored to the needs of teachers and careers advisers later in the year. It would include a variety of talks by academics and the chance to see the School of engineering and Materials Science.
