Careers

For over 40 years our degree programmes have prepared students for work in a wide range of roles. Many go on to have careers in the engineering materials sector where a range of opportunities exists. Recent graduates have gone into materials-related careers which include working at Ford as a Materials Engineer and working at Shell on renewable energy. More than a quarter of our graduates go on to complete a higher degree. The remainder typically use their technical, numerate degree to secure careers in non-related fields such as finance, banking or consultancy.
