QMUL > School of Engineering and Materials Science > Aerospace Engineering Degree: Undergraduate Degree Programmes

Aerospace Engineering is concerned with the design, construction and operation of aircraft, helicopters and spacecraft. The skills you will develop will apply to future spacecraft and high performance aircraft and also to the next generation of Green Air & Ground Transport, Green Energy such as Wind Turbines and also Biological Fluid Flow.
Queen Mary offers both a three-year BEng degree in Aerospace Engineering and a four-year MEng degree. The MEng includes an additional year of study that involves a group project, where recent examples of such projects include the design and construction of a rocket capable of breaking the UK altitude record and the design of a solar-powered racing car.
All our degree programmes are accredited by the Royal Aeronautical Society - http://www.raes.org.uk - and the Institution of Mechnical Engineers -http://www.imeche.org
