QMUL > School of Engineering and Materials Science > Undergraduate Admissions: How to Apply
All applications for undergraduate degree in the School of Engineering and Materials Science should be made through the UCAS. To apply you need to fill in an entry UCAS Application Form. These forms, together with copies of the UCAS publication How to Apply, are available from your school or college or by contacting UCAS on www.ucas.com
UCAS normally starts receiving applications from 1 September for the following September and the deadline for applications is normally the 15 January.
The UCAS form allows you to make up to five choices of institution/course - you should take care to clearly enter the details for courses and institutions. Filling in your UCAS form takes a lot of time and consideration, but normally your teacher or careers adviser will be available to help you.
When we make decisions on appliactnt first we will look at the applicant's qualifications to see that they match our Entry Requirments. We look at the predicted A-level grades, AS grades and GCSE grades all together to give us an overall academic picture of the candidate. We will then look at the reference and personal statement to ensure that the applicant is well-suited to the subject at Queen Mary.
If you would like more information about Queen Mary you can see the admissions pages on www.qmul.ac.uk/undergraduate
