Welcome to the School of Engineering and Materials Science Postgraduate Admissions Pages. Here you will find information on the postgraduate degree courses we offer and how to apply.
A postgraduate degree allows you to further explore a subject to attain a high level of proficiency, with an opportunity for independent research. Taught postgraduate degrees usually take one year's full time study to complete and are a good stepping stone to employment or further academic research. We have approximately 80 students on a range of MSc and MRes programmes including biomedical engineering, sustainable energy engineering, materials research and aerospace engineering.
We particularly welcome applications from students with a background in life sciences, medicine or dentistry, physical sciences (Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Materials Science) or Engineering.
